The Rhode Island Business Plan Competition - Established by the BDCRI in 2001, this event aims to develop the entrepreneurial spirit in Rhode Island and help create growth companies that will increase local employment.

Junior Achievement of Rhode Island - The BDCRI is pleased to help educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise. BDCRI President Peter Dorsey, Jr. is a member of the executive committee and secretary of the board.

Rhode Island Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship - The New Rhode Island Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (RI-CIE) is part of a multiagency effort to grow new jobs and businesses in Rhode Island by establishing a resource-rich environment for honing ideas, pursuing professional development and exploring innovative business opportunities.
